While I have been doing composition for quite some time I am just at the beginning of a career writing music for films and games. I am an addict of science fiction, fantasy, and video games as well as a composer. As music composer and sound effects contributor for Imperial Wars, hopefully I've found a way to blend these passions of mine into one.

MY TRAINING

I earned my BA and MA in music composition at the University of Chicago in the 80s and studied piano, organ, and voice privately with various local professionals. My training is thoroughly "classical", but I have an ability to emulate styles from historical classical to folk to 20th century American.
